Visited the bridge and the tourist area beside the bridge. Was very interesting but we got the best look when we went down to the village and took the river round to under the bridge tourist area. The inside the tourist building there is a video about the building of the bridge on a continuous loop in different language. Well... More

One of our reasons for visiting this part of France was to visit the viaduct, although let's say at the outset the driving over it is the least impressive part of the experience. We started off at the lower exhibition area which is OK and gives a sense of the immense size of the structure as you look up at... More

First seen from many kilometres distance on the A75, the Viaduc de Millau softens even the hardest of hearts. My wife did not originally fancy the detour made to visit Millau ( in itself a pretty and interesting little town ) but was easily seduced by the size and splendour of Foster's edifice. There are many easily found viewpoints and... More

The Millau Viaduct is definately worth a visit. It's not really possible to convey the scale of the structure without seeing it. We arrived from the west and initially went under the viaduct, stopping at the exhibition, which is small but informative and free unless you want the guided tour. After that we went into Millau for lunch and then... More

2nd time across the viaduct. We stopped at the visitor centre this time - very informative. The cafe is very good, sells local produce which is nice. Walked up to the Viaduct - absolutly the most amazing piece of engineering we have seen. If in the area it is a must. Make sure you stop southound at the services.

This is as good as you would imagine, it's huge and beautiful. On one bank there's a visitor centre below the viaduct, with tours. On the other is a service area where you can walk up to a viewpoint over the road. Both are worth a visit, if you can only do one go over the bridge and stop at... More

We have been over the viaduct about four times. The first it was too misty and we were up in the clouds and couldnt see a thing. The second we came over planning to stop but because we were in a rush didnt stop. 3rd time came on the way to Spain and got a view from the distance. This... More

Not much can be added to the reviews already made! It's worthwhile spending some time changing your viewing point, as otherwise it's very difficult to grasp the scale, the elegant design and great execution of this structure. It truly is a wonder of the modern world, and a 'must see' for anyone interested in design, architecture and engineering, but even... More

I rode to the South of France and back just to go over the bridge - i'd seen it on Top Gear and in Ride magazine. It is a breath taking sight. I rode down into Milau and stood underneath it and felt very small. I actually rode over it 3 times - south to north, then put a video... More

I was told to go to Millau to see the bridge. It is beautiful and worth seeing, but what is more interesting is to keep going on the road and visit the wonderful villages after the bridge Peyre and st Rome, a wonderful region, the sites are breath taking
