If travelling over the bridge, take the opportunity to stop at the rest station here. Where you see the bridge from a different aspect.

was looking forward to crossing this structure as i saw it on my route planning and it didnt disappoint, tho it did cost 10.10 EU's to cross which i thought was a bit steep

Probably the second best bridge in the world (after the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol). Great views, high up, nice surrounding scenery.

This was the highlight of the trip - excellent commentary by the batelier. The view of the viaduct from underneath was mind blowing. Would definitely recommend.

The whole Aveyron area was surprisingly pretty and interesting. I was there on business but enjoyed the food (especially the Roquefort) and the historic farm villages.

This bridge is amazing could not believe how high it was .I recommend that anyone who is travelling in the south of France to drive over it.

I don't know. We didn't see any helicopters but we could have been there at the wrong time of day. You can get very good views from Creissels below & from the information centre & of course driving across it. It is very... More

Barcelona to Millau by car (or minivan) is a 4 hour trip one way. Unless your group is totally into great engineering feats only I wonder if you would not like to extend your trip to include the (reconstructed) middle age... More

No idea. Maybe long distance buses. Not trains. I was actually disappointed when we later drove over it as you can't see anything from car
