Wonderfully elegant creation by British architect Sir Norman Foster, sweeping across the French countryside. Venture up into the adjoining mountains above Creissel, take care on the road, just about single track in places with no edge protection but the view from the view point is...More

This is a marvellous piece of modern engineering. We stopped off at a viewing area down in the valley and took in the view. Lovely area. The bridge looks very impressive from underneath where you get to see the enormity of this magnificent bridge. The...More

First we drove across it then we got off the freeway, drove through the town of Millau, up to a lookout then under the bridge and stopped at another lookout on the other side. This bridge is very impressive from any angle. Standing right under...More

The viaduct is indicative of the modernity of the transport networks in this part of France, and provides a stunning modern backdrop as you approach Millau having seen the wonders of the Tarn Gorge.

Impressive. Well designed. We enjoyed traveling on the bridge and having a coffee break at the end. What can I say a real treat

Stopped off at the rest area and climbed the hill to get a good view of this impressive engineering feat. Also stopped at the visitor centre down below on our way back up. Impressive.

I didn't realise the viaduct was on our route south but when I spotted it I knew immediately what it was. It's a fantastic feat of engineering and as we were lucky crossing on a fine day the views were certainly spectacular. I noticed an...More

We travelled to see the viaduct because my partner wanted to see it. Finding the visitor centre was a task in itself but once found it was a very interesting place to learn about the bridge. It was free entry and having looked round the...More

I don't know, we didn't see any helicopters around at all. I would be surprised if there was.
