Nice chateau with ordinary gardens around. Austerlitz exhibition is very interesting with opportunity to try weapons (rifles) from the beginning of 19th century. Really impressive castle in such a small town. A huge and beautiful park with statues all around. A must for history lovers as this is the place where truce was signed after the Austerlitz battle.

The castle is very beautiful and the gardens are amazing. In winter Slavkov is rather cold but totally worth to see.

It is a great place where you will find out more about important Czech dynasties and you will be able to stand on the balcony where Napoleon Bonaparte celebrated the Battle of Austerlitz`s victory with his soldiers.

We did not visit the interior but strolled around the extensive formal gardens with their statuery and water features. Sadly, the fountains were closed for the winter season. Should form a key point on the Napoleonic tour of this area.
