While staying for a few days in Tenby, we noticed Manorbier Castle as very nearby so decided to pay a visit. What a little gem! The partially ruined castle was at a gorgeous location with a quaint village and pretty walk (wheelchair/pushchair accessible) to a...More

This was one castle I'd never heard of, which I find disappointing, because it is one of the better ones. It's the birthplace and the legendary Gerald of Wales, and much is still standing. It has a good history and whilst it takes some finding,...More

We had a lovely time here. It's a "pretty" venue which holds weddings. There is a small café where we enjoyed refreshments. There are quite a few steep steps, but it is compact so fairly easy to get around. Worth a visit

Great Castle to explore. This is a partial ruin, but there is many areas that gives you great views and a sense of what life was life. This site is not for individuals with physical disabilities or limitations. It is must see site.

Just after returning from Manorbier this PM. Situated at the very end of the B4585 - this comes off the A4139 Swansea-Pembroke road - it lies just 5miles SW of Tenby - which is the nearest big town. These 5 miles will take you through...More

I have always wanted to visit Manorbier Castle. Sadly, the first impressions were not good... the person selling tickets was clearly either having a bad day, or doesn't like or respect visitors. Rather gruff and rude. Looking back at previous reviews I think she may...More

They have a good website with open and closed dates but it only goes to the end of September so far. There is a phone number and email address. You had better check as it is a popular wedding site.

Oooh, there is a lot of outdoor and it is below the village towards the beach, a pretty exposed spot. In wet weather the steps on the spiral staircases could also be tricky. The café is small with only very few places... More
