A perfect place to take an inquisitive 5 year old, this is a small but beautifully laid out aquarium with vivid colours and well thought out displays. The explanation of the contents of each aquarium together with information and photos overhead makes the identification of the fish easy but is unfortunately only in French. The visit which takes between an... More
It was a blustery, rainy day in October so found something to keep a 3-year old happy. Final result was a happy child but frustrated grandparents who would have liked far more time to explore. This aquarium is a litttle jewel and definitively worth a visit.
Close to the see very nice visit, stupendous place with so many species never seen before. Entry little bit expensive but it's OK
The aquarium was a great visit, very interesting, took an hour or so to walk round. being able to see the sharks and the turtles up close was great, the family loved it. They had an interactive section testing your knowledge after your walk round.
Very good-could do with some explanations in English - everything was in French. There are some amazing fish and other underwater animals.
Nice aquarium built up around three themes. It's not big but an excellent place to go to avoid the midday sun when you have small children, could be combined with the Plage de la Grande Conque afterwards for example. Nice tank with sharks and a turtle. Free parking within 100 m.
Cost 7.80 euros for adults which is ok and free for under 5's. They have around 20-25 tanks with a variety of fish. Main tank has sharks and turtle. Nothing written in English though. It was ok but sort of came to an abrupt end. Usual tack in the gift shop. Would I visit again? Probably not. As you exit... More
I have been expecting some biology-lessons like stuff and at first was sceptical about this idea. BUT, it was really good in the end of the day: there are a lot of fish segmented by ocean or sea with really interesting description and fun facts per each creature. Sharks and big turtle available! Recommend to go rainy day :)
