If you are into boats it is a great place. To us it just looked like any harbor. The only nice thing is that it hits the old town

We took a trip to Vannes to explore the market and on walking around, found this gem. The views are scenic and it is well worth the visit and some photographs. Park at the Parking République and take a walk through the town centre and...More

As a port, the ‘Port de plaisance’ of Vannes is a bit of a disappointment to landlubbers because there isn’t much else to see than rows of moored pleasure boats on the Marle river. No boat is moving and the sea is far away. The...More

Beautiful place to visit. We stayed right on the harbour. Always something happening. Lots of lovely eating places to choose from and bars to relax and have a beverage.

Nice port to visit on a sunny day. Lots of boats, lots of money, and lots of maintenance. It is said that the happiest days of a boaters' life are when the boat is purchased, and the day it is sold. Not being a boating...More

Right there in town and hard to miss. Its always good to see boats on a sunny day. Stroll along the concrete boardwalk and it ends at a grassy path to continue down longer. We took this to the ferry about 2ks down. Lots of...More

Nice place, central parking, short walk from old town, calm and at the same time pretty. Many people were eating sandwiches in the area to take in the views also a few restaurants offering this view as well as good food.

A lovely area where there are boats - mostly sailing craft. The area is open and spacious and just nice to wander around. The town gate is a super entrance to the town which is wonderful.
