Haut-Brion is very famous and produces top quality wines, one of the very best of this region actually! We did a private tour, and tasted their delicious wines. Staff was not very friendly, so 4/5.

I read good reviews here, hence we decided to visit. It seems like they treat people differently depending on who they believe is a ‘better’ customer. Well, I do not drink Haut Brion every day, but enjoy it occasionally (which would definitely be less after...More

We have enjoyed many bottles of Chateau Haut-Brion over the years (and have many more tucked away in our cellar), so we were thrilled to book a tour on our recent trip to France. The tour was quite short consisting of the video others have...More

The property was acquired by Clarence Dillon together with la mission Haut Brion. The owner of Clarence Dillon is the royal family of Luxembourg. As such, you can see that a lot of area in the Chateau is carefully decorated and designed. Upon my arrival...More

No, you will be offered a tasting but the vintage and choice of wine is decided by your tour guide. Wine is not for sale to the public at the chateau and there is no gift shop. We were however gifted two really nice books... More
