Like Sarlat, this is a great place to visit.

Churches in France were on our itinerary and this one was easy to visit because of the time we spent in Sarlat.

This was a "cute" experience for 5 euros and certainly gave a good 360 degree view of Sarlat enhanced by perfect weather conditions. Although we were given a sheet with written English descriptions of the main features, we felt disadvantaged compared to the French speakers who received a much more thorough (and more humorous) explanation.

I really enjoyed the 10 minutes or so we spent in the glass elevator atop a disused church steeple. It was a lovely sunny morning which helped and we were high enough for a true panorama. Guide very helpful though non English speaking, spoke slowly and gave us a chart of the main buildings in English. 5€ and worth it.

We and our 3 little kids visited Sarlat on some Wednesday morning in August for the market and old city, The attraction was there, with no major line to wait, pretty cheap, so we decided to go up. For us it was marvelous - the entire city on a 360 degrees view, with a printed English guide of the different... More

Look, it's only 5 Euro so I can't complain, right? But I left feeling like I didn't really get my money's worth. You are inside the elevator the whole time you're overlooking the city and the elevator "walls" are glass windows, so you can see through, duh. But the glass reflects the outdoor light and makes it hard to take... More

With an 'glass' elevator you are brought on top of the tower. No need to leave the elevator. Great idea that gives a marvelous 360° view on Sarlat. With a nice guide telling the history of Sarlet. Worthwhile the small investment.

Worth spending a few euros and time. The guide is English speaking, but the visit is in English just once per day. It was interesting to listen to the story of this area. Ask before buying the tickets. On the top the view is nice but nothing special.

The St. Marie Church built in 1365, lives a new life as a covered market and hosts a panoramic elevator in its bell tower. The glass elevator allows you a bird's eye-view of the old Sarlat with its picturesque yellow stone buildings and limestone roofs ( called lauzes). The elevator takes no more than 7 people on each run and... More

This is a market in a deconsecrated church, which is what makes it interesting. The things being sold are all local food items aimed for the tourists.
