It's a long way to see this tomb of Homer at the North end of the island... the road ends up with a dead-end roundabout, it means that you are arrived, a short walk on a rough track and you see the rest of the...More

At the end of the road there's a parking circle and a 15 minute walk up a gravely path to a hilltop overlooking the sea. With countless islands sprawled across the blue horizon Homer's grave rests in the wind. Mostly piles of rocks and stone...More

Came here as we took the wrong turning but we I was here I went anyway. Not much to see really other than a view over to Naxos.

The visit to the tomb has just been a "check, I've done it". Thanks to previous reviews I was not expecting anything from it as it is not even sure the remainings of the poet lies there. However, I still highly recommend to go there...More

You will love the driving route but at the end you will not find anything very interesting. Just the felling that " I've been there". The view from the hill though is beautiful.
