I have not visited the museum only used them into research on various garages which existed in the mid 20C. I found the staff extremely helpful, emailing me lots of data and photographs.

A small museum, ideal for children....not overwhelming. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Something for children to do is a must.

Took my 3 grandchildren to visit and they absolutely loved it. A lot of interesting displays with good information about them. Recommend anyone to visit, you won't be disappointed

If you visit Chatteris or live in Chatteris make sure you have at least taken in the sights of Chatteris Museum once. It is hidden away but once found you will be delighted. Historical fact and fabulous exhibits await you. Custodians to some incredible artefacts...More
