A great memorial to the Canadian soldiers who fell during the Normandy invasion. A must see for any Canadians who are visiting the area.

We stopped there on our way from Paris to Mt St Michel, after visiting the Memorial of Caen. The place is beautiful and well maintained. We took time to read the messages on the tombstones and it was deeply moving. Some of the men there were as young as 19 years old. We could feel the pain of the families... More

Having visited the American Cemetery and being dismayed with it's Disney-style atmosphere, I was very pleased with our visit to the Canadian War Cemetery. Beautiful grounds and such a respectful atmosphere. I was very moved during my time there. Take some time to read the epitaphs - you really get a sense of the sacrifice made by these courageous men... More

Just to be in this (now) peaceful place is a tribute to those ou gave their lives for or freedom. It's stunning to read the inscription and seeing there was so many young man. At the entry there is a list of all brave soldiers who are there for eternity. And, people of Reviers are son friendly canadian visitors.

The Canadian War Cemetery at Beny-sur-Mer is a very beautiful place. Hopefully all these war heroes are resting peacefully. I was looking for members of my Regiment which landed on D-Day and I found many of them. From privates to a Major. Every Canadian should bear witness to these heroes who gave life and limb to liberate the world from... More

The grounds, area were very well kept. Nice to see for a memorial of a time that should and will never be forgotten. Just wandering the grounds, thinking about the past and the hardships that the soldiers endured. A very heart felt appreciation to all those who took part in our history.

The cemetery honours the Canadian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Normandy in WWII to fight for our freedoms that we enjoy today. It is peaceful and beautiful. The many pink roses and other beautiful flowers that surround every headstone provide natural loveliness and add to the serenity. we were very touched by the Maple trees which today have grown... Very peaceful Candadian cemetry. It is a historic and well maintained cementry. The road outside is relatively busy for the area but this does not detract from how well the cemetery is laid out. Well worth a visit when visiting the battlefields, especially if you combine it with visiting the Juno beach visitor centre.

A visit to this final resting place for 2000 Canadian Soldiers who lost their lives in the landings, in the Normandy bridgehead and the battle to capture Caen. The graves are settled in amongst Maple trees. Being Canadian's it was very moving for us to see the graves of so many young men who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the... More
