Having visited many CWGC cemeteries WW1 and WW2, each one has uniqueness about it and this one is no exception. This one is next to a church which in itself is unusual. Also is not laid out in such an organised, symmetrical pattern as most...More

As always with Commonwealth War Cemetaries, this one is quiet and peaceful. The lawns and borders are beautifully kept, allowing the heroes buried here to rest in peace and with dignity.

As all CWG are, this place is immaculate. I particularly honour how local people requested that the initial military casualties were brought in, the asked if the could be buried in the churchyard to be claimed as their own. Thank you.
