I have lived In Mae Taeng some 20 years and have visited Mae Ta Man over the years. great setting an river. the elephant ride about 800 baht is a bit dear, but they do take you across the river and into the jungle. there is a tourist show of elephant talents lifting tree trunks and playing football. many tourist... From start to finish this experience was amazing. We were met by two elephants which we fed. Then changed into mahout costumes and learned more about the elephants. We were not planning to ride them as many of the elephants are treated cruelly in these parks but here they gave humane practices so we rode them briefly bareback. Then our... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Elephant tour but knew we were in for a great day as soon as we got there and were greeted by a wonderful attentive staff and 2 beautiful 4 and 6 year old elephants. The day was extremely organized from start to finish and we were able to do so many different... More

A completely private day with the Elephants - no other people. It was my husband and I. We loved it all! It is worth the money and you will go away with a great experience. Can do as much or as little as you wish. Favorite part of the day was going into the water with the elephants and bathing... More

This experience was included in our Wanna Tour itinerary. Our experience was just thee two of us. We were enthralled from our first moment of being introduced to our elephants, feeding them sugar cane and petting their heads and trunks. As the day developed we rode our elephant, fed them often, received kisses, hugs, and they lifted my husband in... More

I wasn't sure to expect about ELE because it is so hard to find any information about them and their email communication is so poor. Even our guide who lives in the area didn't know anything about ELE other than the location. Let me assure you, the service is great and from the moment you arrive, their execution is flawless.... I can't say enough about our half day experience at ELE. Everything from the amazing staff to the amenities to the humane treatment of their elephants is first class. I have done other elephant experiences and nothing comes close to ELE. It is worth paying a little extra to avoid those inhumane elephant camps that appeals to the hoards of... More

WOW!!!!! A one on one experience with elephants and a truly amazing staff. If you want to see elephants, then this is the only way to go. The best part about ELE is that they truly care for, love, and respect these noble animals. Book in advance as they only take one group per day. Forget that any other elephant... More

To be up close and personal with these majestic animals and their trainers, to see what elephants are like in a more relaxed environment than a big commercial operation, was magical. The vet was very professional and answered any questions we had. Everyone helped us feel at home and comfortable in the surroundings. The pace for us was perfect for... More
