We loved this tree-lined drive where you feel like you are in an enchanted forest of great beauty! Its so worth the drive especially in the fall where the colors are gorgeous!

Such fun we had driving through this scenic Lakeshore Drive. We were charmed by the fall colors and the lovely homes. Our first visit to Michigan broadened our love for America "from sea to shining sea." Please take time to be here.

During the fall color season this is a great drive. You'll get to see every imaginable colored leaves. The "highway," Michigan M119 (16 miles) is very narrow and very windy and it also runs next to Little Traverse Bay. Be prepared to take your time....More

It's a little bit later this year since it was such a warm summer. Should be towards the last two weeks of October.
