This is a truly unique and popular location as the Lighthouse sits on the southernmost point in Norway. In addition to the lighthouse the site also includes a restaurant, museums, exhibitions, shops, cinema and an appartment for rent to guests. It`s the third largest tourist attraction in Southern Norway.

For 10.000 years Lindesnes was the southernmost point of mainland Norway. Then, a few years ago the Lindesnes peninsula got a canal piercing through a few kilometers north. Lindesnes is anyway considered the South Cape and it is a wonderful place to visit.

Wander around in the area and get the feeling of how extreme the conditions can be, in windy weather. The buildings has nice informative displays about the work and how it is to live at such a special work environment.
