Basically ... predates the Romans.

Beautiful view from the park (free). The 5euro price for the ruins is higher than it's worth. I'm... read more

We arrived close to closing, having been routed circuitously around a construction sight. The ruins are relatively small when compared to the Roman amphitheater. The underground area was closed.

Beautiful view from the park (free). The 5euro price for the ruins is higher than it's worth. I'm interested in the Etruscans so that's the only reason I went. Though you get entrance to the Roman Teatro also, so that might make it worth it;...More

At first sight there is not much to look at but make sure you do not miss a visit underground to the cistern, also included in the admission is the Roman amphitheater on the other side of town provided you visit it the same day....More

When you have see some of the other Etruscian and Roman archeologic remans, then this is a bit disappointing. Not so much to be seen to be honest.

This attraction was suggested to me from a friend of mine and I went to see it once there and it was simply magical both the site and also the views of the city one can see from up there.

Apart from the Etruscan remains, and later Roman building foundations unearthed, there isn't too much else to see here. There is a reasonable climb up from the town, not good forushchairs etc.

First, its not a difficult walk. I agree its poorly signed and we walked around the park for a bit not realizing it was right in front of us. The cisterns make it worthwhile and while compared to other ruins they arent that spectacular they...More

We did not think that the steep uphill walk to get here on a hot day justified coming here. Not that much here unless you are really into archeology ruins.

We had difficulty finding the entrance to the park, it is not well signed for directions. The Etruscan Acropolis site is well signed with information boards but the area around the ruins are a bit overgrown with weeds. Ruins and weeds, usually work well side...More
