Stefano was very helpful and accommodating and the beach was beautiful. We went as a group of students and I believe received a discount just from being students. Anything we needed he was able to provide and had a lot of tips for the area as well.

An absolute gem! My family and I were made to feel extremely welcomed - our kids were given a spot of lunch by Stefano (which they wolfed down). Nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with toys for the kids to play with on the beach. The snack bar and partner restaurant are good. There is a good playground should they want a break from the beach. The beach is very clean as are the facilities! Would highly recommend especially if you have a young family. We will be returning when we come back. You will not be disappointed!

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we jumped on a train and headed to Viareggio and Bagno Maurizio. About a 20 minute walk from the train station but easy. We were greeted warmly by Stefano, just as everyone said we would be, and given a nice spot near the water. Everything was clean and so well done…the food was phenomenal and nothing too crowded. As we left, Stefano took a few minutes to talk to my grandsons about travel and what it can bring to their lives, especially if they remember 3 words..” please, thank you and excuse me” and always with a smile. This was a very memorable moment for the trip and for the boys. Thank you Stefano for taking the time and having an interest….you created a memory and gave a lesson, all in one moment.

With so much choice of Bagno’s at Viareggio we opted to go with the reviews fromTA and book a spot at Bagno Maurizio. From the initial messages with Stefano the service was exceptional. Plenty of parking outside, easy to find and spotlessly clean. This is one of the smaller Bagno areas but Stefano will ensure you have everything you need and have a great day on the beach. He really has nailed great customer service and is just a genuinely nice guy. Thank you for making our day. I’m usually sceptical these days of TP reviews as there are so many “variables” in play as to why people write them, however on this occasion the feedback on here re this place is spot on. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing time at Bagno Maurizio for our anniversary holiday! We chose the Bagno Maurizio before going to Tuscany because of the reviews we had seen on Google and Trip Advisor. We contacted the host, Stefano, via Whatsapp to check availability and price in advance of our trip. Stefano was very reponsive and share photos of the Bagno with us and offered us a front row umbrella with two sunbeds for €25. He didn't ask for any payment upfront and said we could pay on arrival which was helpful. Stefano was really helpful in advising where to park (main street behind the promenade which costs about €12 for full day. Ensure you do not enter the promenade as it is a ZTL and you will be fined). Stefano was also extremely helpful in advising where to eat for lunch and dinner and suggested a few restaurants, where he also offered us discount. The beach was super clean, the service from Stefano was absolutely amazing and everything lived up to our expectations. I would definitely recommend visting Bagno Maurizio if you visit Viareggio as you will not be disappointed!

There are many beaches to choose from Livorno to Chinque Terre when you are on vacation and you are based ín Pisa. We have tried more during our one week in Tuscany and Bagno Maurizio was way the best in all means. The rent for umbrellas and beds were very reasonable, the host is very friendly, the place is clean and you have options to buy food (which is important when you are with you kid). So thank you,we had fun :)

My wife and I spent the day at Bango Maurizio this week. From the minute we met Stefano and Claudia we were made to feel welcome and that nothing was any trouble to them. They were friendly and helpful and the facilities were exactly as we expected. We would happily return.

We came to Viareggio spontaneously during the high season. Understandably, the Bagno Maurizio was already fully booked on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Nevertheless, Stefanie welcomed us with open arms and a friendly smile. He asked us to be patient and said that he would do his best to find a place for our children. A little later he came to us beaming and had a seat for us. Since it was already afternoon, he did not charge us the full price! Stefano even carried our heavy beach bag to the campsite and arranged the deck chairs for us. We've never had such service before. A few hours later we walked past Stefano and he smiled and greeted us by name. We can highly recommend BAGNO MAURIZIO and will be stopping by Stefano's again next time we are in Viareggio. Thank you for everything!!!!

I absolutely love it here! Stefano and Claudia are wonderful hosts - even though we just met, they seem genuinely happy to see be. They make sure every guest is comfortable. I will definitely return and I 100% recommend it! Booking is easy. Prices are very reasonable.

This was the beach connected to our hotel and was lively! Really clean and tidy- Stefano was a real gentleman and really helpful and pleasant . Very hot when we were there so ideally located for us and plenty of shade - tables for coffee and lots of umbrellas- had to go a long way into the sea so the sea was very safe for families- although quite wild waves! A great beach!!
