I went here but the whole thing is closed for some reason. It's located by Viareggios most hectic round about I would guess.

Come on Italy! Get your act together. This is probably one of the most important historical sites in Viareggio, and it's closed to the public! The concierge at the hotel tried to phone the council to find out how to access it, and failed. If...More

This is more about an encouragment to local tourism authorities than a proper review.. In fact I was not able to visit the tower simplt because it is normally closed to public. I have to notice that it looks very well preserved from the outside...More
