The 'fountain of the mask' is located in Piazza Campello not far from the Rocca. The fountain features a large mask of a man-like creature craved out of stone with water pouring out of its mouth into a large trough. I wouldn't necessarily go out...More

We happened upon this whimsical face in a fountain in Spoleto. The water is fresh and clean so you can drink from it as the Romans did.

We enjoyed this little piazza and the fountain. The children were able to throw coins in the water and make wishes. Great pizza restaurant on the corner.

Charming fountain that we saw a few times. It was fun to see the kids playing around it in the afternoon and with no one around in the early morning. The details of the mouth and the façade are worth the look.

According to the locals, the water from the fountains are great, but don't choose the ones with pigeon poop on them! The pigeons loved the top of this fountain! The little piazza was charming. Nice place for a pastry and coffee while you watch the...More
