If the guide books had not mentioned this arch we would have walked under it without comment. It is a rather dilapidated stone arch that looks if it should have been maintained It is only in the context of the fact that it is Roman do you stop and look at it with more interest and comment on how wonderful... Dated BC, one might just walk underneath the arch (along Via Arco di Druso) and not notice anything, because it leads to the famous Rocca or Duomo, however, the particular position - entering Piazza del Mercato - however, there are tombs buried underneath (not open to the public) and on one side are the walls of the Sant'Ansano Church. This is a Roman archway across the road at the end of Piazza del Mercato. It's interesting because of its age although once you've seen it and photographed it, there's not much more to do.
