Steep steps lead you within 30 min. up to the temple. Along the way are benches for rest and chill. The temple itself is small, old and therefore a beauty to take a picture of. The surrounding landscape and the view are stunning from up there - I recommend sunset or even sunrise.

The temple is located at the top of the hill allowing open 360 views of the beautiful landscape. The area is not rich in archaeological sites. This reason is a popular religious place and one of the most visited places of the district and nearby areas.

On evening this is the best place in Bandipur to go and watch sunset and also hole town from above.
You can take good photos of Bandipur village and bazaar and sunset also.
The way is at starting point of bazaar to uphill. After passing stairs you will reach the top. There is also is a temple on top of this hill.

This small temple is in the top of the mountains and have a wonderfull conection between the spiritual and the nature. This is a good point to see the sundown in Bandipur and make a medititation or a pray.

If you are in Bandipur it would be a crime not to visit the temple on the hill. The temple itself is nothing to look at but the views on the way up and at the top are spectacular especially on a clear day or if you wish to take in sunrise or sunset when the sun is not at its most potent. There are several benches for resting if you are not used to exercise and although the climb takes only around 30 minutes it is quite steep and some of the steps are deeper than others which means that you should get a good cardio workout!

Climb to the shire via a challenging flight of steps next to the school which will lead you to perhaps one of the best sunsets in Nepal. The views are immense and amazing. bask in the glory of a Sun setting between the distant Mountains and admire the lingering hues on the Annapurna range

We had a short trek to reach to the temple. Steep slope but has good trail. We had good feeling after reaching the summit but unable to see the landscape due to dense fog.

Just a 30-min walk from the school, the view is amazing from the top. Benches on the way up are available.

We were on refreshment program of our office to Bandipur and one local suggested to visit Thani Mai temple at the top of hill. We went there and the view was awesome, the sound of air was so pleasant and the scenic view from the top felt like we are in next world. we stayed there for about 1 hour long relaxed with natural purity and got down to bandipur Town. Really good experience.
