As usual sunny resort with easy slopes...excellent cuisine...especially at mountain... Visit baita cuca...best ever mountain hutte/restaurant/bar. Slopes not prepared well given poor snow conditions. Dolomites seems to be to low to guarantee good snow conditions all seansom long. Try sellaronda - all day trip...but demanding for beginners.

Even though it was the last week in March and the end of the season, there was lots of snow. Spring conditions, so tight in the morning and mashed potatoes by the afternoon. I've been to Val Gardena twice now, once during the winter to ski and again in the autumn to go hiking. It's a beautiful place to visit. The skiing was also pretty good. I'd definitely go to Val Gardena again, its a long way from Australia but worth the trip!

Great place to stay in winter if you ski and also if you do not as they offer plenty of activities for non-skiers. The town is also nice to walk in.

You want to ski the Sella Ronda. Go to wolkenstein the best place to be. Good hotels and good apres ski and the best entrance to the Sella Ronda.
