I went to the visitor centre but gave it a miss as it looked like a country park. I confess now that I prefer my nature in the raw. There's a good lot of rolling arable land behind the Sabaudia coast that offers pretty good...More

Lots of traffic, but also lots of Sunday cyclists. The weekend we were there, there were also many many mushroom seekers. Visitors should be aware that parking requires the purchase of a ticket from a machine along the road.

One of the best places to stay in Italy. Wonderful beaches, lakes, mountains, islands and dunas... perfect if you love wild nature and a calm place to stay not so far from Rome.
