The listing in Trip Advisor has the wrong location. The gate is in the town of Rive del Garda as is an interesting feature is a nice shopping district.

This archway into the town is a bit of history. The town itself is lovely with lots of places to sit or have a coffee. There are quite a few shops and market stalls. There also is a lovely local church. Worth a visit.

This city gate is in a very pretty part of town, a beautiful church is just down the street. It seemed to be a lively area with many stores and restaurants near.

Lovely part of the old town. The architecture in Italy is the best in the world. It's amazing to see old and intact architecture. Great old town to walk around with a camera.

This is a must make sure you get the directions to it before you visit. Difficult to find if not prepared.

It would be quite difficult to find yourself on the north side of the gate unless you are like me an inveterate wanderer. I suspect most will miss this little wonder overshadowed by the larger st Michaels gate to the east. Worth a look.
