Stumbled across this by accident whilst killing time waiting for a bus. Exterior is unusually octagonal but otherwise unspectacular. The interior on the other hand is truly special. There is a notice requesting that ladies should not wear shorts, minis, bare shoulders etc

A beautiful small church with an ornate painted ceiling, worth a few minutes while pottering around the town but probably not worth making a trip to Riva for. A good respite from the crowds too, though not the heat!

The interior of the Church is stunning even though it is a single small room. The ceiling paintings are amazing. Well worth a visit.

The outside of this church is very plain and to be honest, we only looked inside out of nosiness. What delights awaited us. You have to visit this church, to marvel at the interior. It is absolutely stunning, from floor to ceiling (especially the ceiling)...More

During our stay in Riva, we passed this Inviolata Church everytime on our way from/to our hotel. And it became our favourite in Riva. The church was built in Baqoque style, in the beginning of the 17th century. From the outside, it looks like 'one...More

As you approach the church, it will appear very plan and not worth your time. GO INSIDE! The outer appearance is nothing like the interior, which is frankly one of the most beautiful intimate churches we have been in. We were fortunate to have a...More

Churches in Italy, although still dedicated to the praise of the Lord, are by far some of the most beautiful and reverent places I've visited. Pure peace and love radiates from this church x

We drove through Riva Del Garda while seeing Lake Garda and stopped for lunch. Made the walk up to this church. Single room building but amazing ceiling art and good for a quick visit. No cost.
