This as a beautiful lake of bright blue water that is warmer than Lake Garda. So peaceful and definitely worth the trip from Torbole. Several beach/grass areas with good parking as you enter the lake area coming from Torbole. Also several camp sites with beach...More

I took the bus from Riva del Garda to lago di ledro. It was beautiful and there were some nice cafes which were reasonably priced. I then walked back through valle di ledro to the old ponale road. It was a long walk but very...More

After driving up from Riva, we found the lake with only a little trouble. Drove all the way around it, which was a little challenging at one point because the road was SO narrow. Then stopped at a small beach, where we waded a bit....More

We rode here from Riva Del Garda which is virtually all uphill but its a beautiful valley/lake and worth a visit. We took the offroad route back to the Ponale walk/ride into Riva. The off road section from Legos to Pre includes a very steep...More

We visited the Valle di Ledro on our last day in the Italian lakes region, it was a bit rainy and we hardly passed anyone in the area, certainly very few tourists except a few die hard cyclists. It was a lovely, lush, green area...More

Well worth visiting, scenery and historical. Easy drive from Torbole. Don't miss the museum for the stilt houses. April a great time to visit, not sure what peak summertime would be like. Fabulous drives up into the mountain passes.

I have explored the valley with my roadbike. It is less crowded than Riva and also the traffic is lower. It is good to go there a bit later (about 10am) as it becomes more exposed to sunlight than early in the morning. Also the...More

This place is breathtaking. I mean, the Lake Garda area is generally beautiful but this is another level. Quite a precarious drive up into the mountains but definitely worth it. So so beautiful. I would recommend!!

Hello George, I don't think so you'll have any problem whatsoever. The tunnels up to Ledro were amply large - there were numerous Camper Vans, and lorries, and buses plying the route ! The same was true of the other tunnels... More
