Just off the main square this museum is just one of the many features in the area, not really our cup of tea but another lovely old Italian building

For 5 Euro, you could access this museum, with lots of artefacts and informative paintings. This place was very quiet and there was not many staff around the answer questions. A lot of the info had no English translation so made it difficult.

Very interesting in terms of understanding local history both ancient and 20 century. In particular found the history of the 2 world wars fascinating.

There was a great show at museum while on holiday it was interesting only 5 Euro and a lift to second floor then 64 steps to a spectacular view of Riva Del Garda old town

We recently spent a couple of hours browsing the museum's collections which are very well laid out and, although lacking translations, are easy to follow. The section on the partisans in WW2 was of particular interest as was the gallery of b/w images of mountainscapes....More
