It looks like you have to pay extra to go up the tower but you really don't. They just need to monitor the numbers going in and out. There is a 360 viewing platform on the roof which is excellent.

Ravello is must see on the Amalfi Coast and this is one of the two historical villas that are part of the attractions. Choose a nice sunny day, visit the villa, the gardens, the square and enjoy the famous Italian gelato.
I thought this was the best attraction in Ravello. More beautifully landscaped than Villa Cimbrone, and the views were almost as good.

Very central and only 7 euro entry. Definitely worth going through to see the beautiful gardens, stunning views, history, preserved buildings- with beautiful symphony music playing through the gardens makes it just that it more special.
