This is a popular walk along the Amalfi Coast. We did it this weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how strenuous it is. I saw a few people with the wrong shoes, so I think it's worth mentioning that this trail is a lot of ups and downs on rocky paths. Make sure you have a bottle of water and... More

Too many reviews expressing difficulty in finding this hike, almost intimidated me. So glad I went. Highlight of my Italy vacation. Not hard to navigate. First, Buy a day pass on Sita bus (6e), this gives you options on where you choose to exit. We were in Positano, so took Sita bus to Amalfi. Right next to it was parked... More

My husband and I renamed the Sentiero degli dei (Path of the Gods) trail the "OMG Trail" because of our oft-repeated refrain: oh my god! in response to the sweeping views of the Amalfi coastline--cliffs plunging into the brilliant blue Mediterranean Sea on one side and the towering rock faces on the other. And because Sentiero degli dei was simply... More

Without a doubt the best value for money in this beautiful part of the world. Its 100% free. If you enjoy walking, fresh air, spectacular sights, humbling views, nature and a disconnect from the digital world this is a MUST do hike - to be fair it's more a vigorous walk than a hike so don't be afraid. We started... More

This walk along the Amalfi coast should be on everyones 'bucket list'. I took my directions from Positano.com ( http://www.positano.com/en/i/il-sentiero-degli-dei ) the instructions are correct but a little sparse. If you do as they suggest and start from Bomerano it is a manageable walk for all levels of fitness. I would not have like to go the other way as... More

We walked the spectacular "Sentiero degli Dei" (the Path of Gods) from Bomerano, a small village in the mountains, all the way down to the coastal village of Arienzo di Positano (4 hours). It was an experience of a lifetime! This is a weaving path up or down breathtaking cliffs that takes about 4 hours to walk, either way. I... More

This attraction is low-ranked because it has many fewer reviews than the businesses, who push their customers for reviews. So if you're a walker, just pay attention to the five dot rating and give it a try. We did this trail the easy way, taking the local bus from Positano to Nucello and having a relatively level hike to Praiano.... More

We started the Sentiero Degli Dei walk in Bomerano and it took us approx.3 hrs to get to Positano. We were advised by the owner of the B&B we were staying at that walking that way is easier as there’s more walking down than up and also starting the trip from Bomerano is easier again than starting in Praiano as... The walk starts from Bomerano, Agerelo and we walked down to Positano. The whole walk took us about 2.5 hours and takes along the rocks and coasts. Absolutely stunning and worth the sore calf muscles the next day. Bring water, snacks and wear sensible shoes. Parts of the walk are just rubble so a child wouldn't easily navigate. Picnic tables...
