I was lucky enough to direct a revue "Broadway in Ravello" in January 2013. This was an amazing space for our performers. The interior is beautiful--the stage can be adjusted to various levels and the view overlooking a gorgeous part of the Amalfi coast is breathtaking. There is a music festival every year--so please check it out.

No, it doesn't fit in at all with the ambient post-medieval landscape. But it's an architectural wonder anyway. For its size, its seating capacity is small. But, though this is one of his last completed works (Niemeyer lived to 105), the interior and exterior perfectly reflect all of Niemeyer's lifelong love of the curve and unexpected material form. On our... More

The sculptures outside the auditorium are very interesting. I had no idea of all the works for which this architect was responsible. I wish I could have heard a concert here. It is very modern but unique and worth a bit of time if you have it.

I was lucky enough to see a concert in the auditorium of Italian musicians. The space is amazing to be in the acoustics are excellent. Just loved every minute! Even if you don't see a concert definitely go visit this building. It cantilevers beautifully over the edge of the cliff and has some interesting sculptures in the entry courtyard.

We had the surprise pleasure of catching Max Gaze here. This is an excellent concert hall without a bad seat in the house. It is situated on the cliff overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the view is equally as beautiful in the evening as it is during the day. We will always cherish the memory of our evening here!

we were curious about this place as it looked out of character in the environment. We knew nothing about Oscar Niemeyer and didn't realise it was an exhibition of photographs of his work. We also didn't realise that there was a charge to see the exhibition and auditorium until we left and a member of staff asked for a payment.... More

I only gave 4-5 stars for the reason of its distinct presence. While I am amazed at its location, the views it provides visitors and attendees of performances, the unique architecture, and an attempt to be seamless within and against the backdrop of the hillside and smallish communities surrounding, it is not so seamless -- and less so from the... I am a fan of Oscar Niemeyer. I think the building is a must see especially the front left corner that appeats to float high over the sea, Its a great view.

Highly criticised but I find this innovative example of architecture an interesting addition to the stunning Amalfi coast where there are far worse eyesores condoned by local political interests. High quality agenda of events. Book in advance!

As a board member of the West Hartford Community Theater, and seeing our cast perform "Broadway in Ravello" we had a fantastic experience. The acoustics are beautiful, as is the stage and the views from the auditorium seats of the coast and the Mediterranean Sea. The history of this building is well worth the read.
