Last stop of the day in Ravello. Back through the tunnel, down the stairs. It's not easy to miss ! You'll either love it or hate it. I loved it. Unfortunately closed when I was there but as you approach the glass doors , the...More

Part of the Ravello Spring Concert serie, we had a fabulous evening in a fantastic amphitheatre. The local troupe, from Napoli, was very good, especially the soprano, Clementina Regina. We were surprised at how many napolitain songs we knew!

This is a truly spectacular building on the slopes of Ravello. It was not a modern Oscar Niemeyer building I had expected after visiting the old city.

The Niemeyer was not open when we visited Ravello for three days last week (13-15 September) but I was intrigued to see it because any searches I did before flying to Ravello spoke only of the building and not of performances held within it. Having...More

We enjoyed the terrace with its gorgeous views and modern sculpture. Not so happy to be charged to visit an empty auditorium so we didn't go inside. No refreshments available here as both cafes were shut (in October).

We were blessed to arrive in Ravello in time to attend the final performance of the Festival! Walking to the auditorium, enjoying the summer evening and coastal views, was a treat in itself. The design of the auditorium is sheer Niemeyer; the acoustics are spectacular;...More

This is a terrible building that does not fit in here. Starts to show some very unpleasant patina. We did not attend an event. The exposition in the garden was nice.

Cantilevering the stage and seating the patrons on/in the hillside was an inspiration. Whether you'll like the performance, you'll probably love the stage.
