I felt I had to write a review as the reviews on here are so mixed!
The Grotta was great as long as you go with realistic expectations. Don't catch the boat from Amalfi - it's probably not worth that much investment. It's a cheap and cheerful trip that's very easy to get to from the road (there's even an elevator, and a very good ceramics shop with a cafe and toilet close on hand). It's simple, charming and good fun - as long as you don't take yourself too seriously. If you want the Blue Grotto then get organised and go to Capri, but if you want a simple lark with the family then this is 10 euro you won't regret. It's also very near the Fiordo di Furore which is great - they make a good double. Our kids loved them both.

Roberto was an incredible guide! We stopped here on a tour & had the option to do it for 10€ per person. It was incredible & so worth it!We waited about 5 minutes & were ready to go! Roberto truly made the experience because he knew so much about the cave & was so passionate about it. So many fun facts & seeing things in the rocks was amazing too. Beautiful experience, i’m so happy we were able to do it!

Save your money. The grotto is the size of a medium swimming pool and when you arrive you think you’ll be rowed through caves to see more. But no, that’s it! They eek it out to take 10 minutes but the entire experience is in that one spot. You see some sunlight that makes the water blue/green, stalagmites and stalactites that the boats
men shine a torch on and say ‘ooh it’s the Eiffel Tower/Empire State etc and you’re down. Do not spend your €25 euros pp on this!

Great experience; It does seem the Capri caves are better. However, it was such a lovely experience. We took the boat from minori to Amalfi to the caves 70€ x2 people.
There was little hanging around. Only 20 people per boat in the cave. No queuing. Lots of shaded place outside the cave.
Tips:
Take cash or debit card as you need to pay to go in the cave.
Tip the your guid they deserve it.

I wanted to learn a little more about the geological history of the grotto. They have it set up as a subpar, cheesy Disney ride..: luckily we were early and didn’t have to wait long… this could be so much better… the guide was begging for tips and just repeated himself over and over and over… nonsense.

The whole ride was nice
But the cave and emerald water is just to see in 2 minutes there is nothing else to do
Should be done as part of a whole tour around the coast, in my opinion it is not worth a special trip

A nice, quick tour of a grotto. Enjoyed the experience because we were not able to do the boat trip to the larger, more famous grotto. It was really beautiful, and our guide told colorful stories to complement the the tour.

We were relying on our smart devices to know about this cave and water as the communication was not understandable due to bad English of guide.

We got lucky with parking and were the first ones of a small group to buy tickets for seemingly the last “showing” of the day. I had zero expectations and was really amazed by this grotto! What a wonder to see the emerald-colored water in the corner of this otherwise dark cave. Of course, the gentleman also gave us a tour of the various stalagmites and their interpreted shapes (a crocodile, a pipe organ, a cathedral, etc) and, this being Italy, there was a nativity scene under the water. I appreciated that he spoke some parts in English to explain things. It was a really cool experience!

Relatively small cave with 3 boats with up to 15-20 people at the same time, but we had fun and everyone had a good time. Tour takes ~20 min.
