I've done wine tours before at bigger vineyards and chateaus. This is different I promise. Smaller and much more intimate. Leon the owner took us around - incredible passion and knowledge and works well in a small group which is what he accommodates. The location is fabulous and I came away with a better understanding of their business. The wine tasting itself was fantastic, informative and delicious with great wines and local bread and cheese. Honestly a wonderful couple of hours - don't miss it!

The tour was very informative and our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The wine tasting was so enjoyable that we ordered some wine as did the other person on our tour.

Great wine and presentation. Lovely young family. Very enjoyable tour guide. Relaxed atmosphere. Organic farming. I don’t think I would change a thing about the experience

Leon and his family run a wonderful winery. The property is beautiful, well managed and the vino, OUT of this world. Well with the time and this is the First time we have ordered wine to ship home (and from Italy no less)

Treat yourself to a wonderful afternoon at this property and it’s only 10 minutes outside Cortona.

Bravo Leon!

Such a wonderful tour! Anna was great at showing us the vineyards, the wine cellar and explaining on the wine was made. And the wine was delicious!

We visited Leon and his family on our first weekend in Orvieto. What a memorable time, one we will never forget. You can feel the energy and love Leon and his family have put into their wine farm. Everything is done by hand and is organic. It has a very special, and authentic feeling, you are not left with some or other employee, but with the owner of the wine farm itself, explaining his passion, his family, his background and everything he has put into the establishment.
We visited with our parents and our young children aged 6 and 9. It was suitable for both children and elderly parents alike. The tour was not too long, not too arduous for older people, and interesting too for children. The wine tasting was absolutely delicious; the best wines we have tasted in the area so far. And the food was absolutely delicious! Cold cuts, cheeses, and all sorts of different things for us to try, sourced from local farms around the area.
We were very grateful, and touched by the authenticity that goes into the farm. We will most certainly be back.
Thank you!

I would absolutely recommend to visit the Madonna del Latte winery. It is small-scale, organic, the wine is amazing and Leon is such a friendly host!

After emailing the day before, a table was already prepared with four settings for us. After a tour of the cellar, Leon provided an incredibly detailed tasting of the 5 wines available and indulged our questions and expounded on all that had been done over the years he was in charge of production. An excellent stop.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick sampling of their wine. The charming, renovated farm house was so cozy and designed very tastefully. I particularly liked the small batch, boutique, craft organically produced wines. Ruta was very informative and educated us about the wines in the Orvieto region as well as their style of grapes. Their unique style wine differs from the traditional Umbrian wine. However, be warned ... if stop by for a tasting, you will be charged 5 euros per person per sample. For example, if you select 3 wines to taste, you will be poured the equivalent of a few sips for 5 euros per glass. This could easily add up if you add more wines to try. It ended up costing us 30 euros for the sample of 3 wines for 2 people. This was not explained to us when we first started tasting.
