Orvieto was the first hill town we visited. We eagerly climbed the tower. The stairs are easy to navigate though there are many of them to reach the top. The view is 360 and totally worth the climb.

Mostly to entertain the kids we climbed this tower. We enjoyed the views. Up and down doesn't take that long at all. Not fantastic value but fun enough.

I could not convince my wife to make the climb, so off i went by myself. I had not purchased the Unica Card, so it was 5 Euros to visit the top. It was a beautiful day and having a 360 degree view of the town and the valley was breathtaking

The amazing view of Orvieto at the top of the bell tower made climbing the 200 steps well worth it. There is an elevator, but it stops at the second level. You still have to climb 160 steps

We arrived when the tower opened, and thus missed the crowds. The tower provides a pretty view of the four quarters of the city, and beyond.

After the long climb up St Patricks Well I was in 2 minds as to whether or not to do this but I was so glad I did. The best views of the city to be found. From up here the higgledy piggledy nature of this gorgeous town can be fully appreciated as can the historical, geographical importance.

we walked up the steps to the top of the clock tower and it was so worth it. What a beautiful view - 360 degrees! We stayed up there for quite a while and there were several visitors, but not a crowd. Definitely do this. It's pretty quick and you'll regret it if you don't.

Great place to see all of the city and surrounding area. You can make the climb easier by taking the elevator up to the second level. That make it about 165 stairs.

The Torre del Moro, one of the many medieval towers of the city, in this case functioning as the town's clock tower which gave us a perfect view over all the town center.
