This is highly professionally done, and an absolute blast. The wine tour itself is spectacular as our guide Anna REALLY knows everything there is to know about wine, and her passion shows. The class itself moves along well, and gives a diversity of things to...More

This was by far my husband's and my favorite activity when touring Italy! Our cooking instructor, Rosanna, barely spoke a word of English but she showed us how to make homemade pasta, pizza, and other Italian classics just by using her hands and her wonderful...More

We were picked up from Orvieto at the pre-arranged time, driven through beautiful countryside, to arrive at Decugnano Dei Barbi. A tour of the winery with Anna showed us how the wines are made, and the history of the property. I couldn't quite believe how...More

It starts with excellent communication from the winery (thank you Anna Rita!!). She assisted in arranging a transport service for the 30 minute drive to the winery from town (cost 40 Euro a person). After a tour of the winery we as a group all...More

The afternoon starts with a tour of the winery. We also walked though the vineyard to go into the ancient caves where the wine is stored. Interesting and gorgeous scenery. Then we moved into the lovely kitchen and dining room. In my opinion, this is...More

The tour started with Anna Rita telling us about the history of the Barbi Family and the vineyard. She was highly knowledgable and interesting. We traveled to the production facility and eventually to the caves where the sparkling wine and barrels were stored. I highly...More

I stumbled on this while planning our trip to Italy. It sounded like fun, and it was a change from art and churches. It's a longish twisting, turning drive from Orvieto to Decugnano dei Barbi, but then again how many Italian roads aren't twisting and...More

My friend and I are returning to Rome from a cruise on 10/6/15 and will spend two nights in Rome. We are interested in cooking classes and wine tasting and are thinking of spending 10/8 -10/10 in Orvieto. Is there a two or three day package available? Ground transportation direct to FCO or would we be better taking the train back to Rome and then to FCO. We will not have a car. Stuart & Melissa
