To be honest, I have not seen many wine cellars. But in my humble opinion this is a very good one! We went down some stairs. Far, far down. So many stairs. But luckily we did not have to walk up all those stairs as...More

You have no idea as walk down the stairs that you are walking into history. The cellars are amazing. Even more so when you discover the well and the cave which dates back to 500 BC. The wine tasting experience is very good and not...More

This place is great for a fun climb down into their cellars. They have some impressive casks down there which may or may not contain any wine aging. Not much on info about the area however. My advice would be to skip the wine tasting...More

We were told by other travelers to visit and found it easily, walked down and into these incredible cellars, down the ancient stairs, marveling at the history and the building & wine technology. Really amazing, awe inspiring.

This place was so cool!! You enter through a small unassuming door off the square in Montepulciano and descend down, down, down, down into some really fascinating Etruscan caves that contain massive old wine barrels that are still being used today! Even if you have...More

The tour was okay, as was the tasting after. The wine was good, but not "knock your socks off" good and not worth the price. There are better options in Montepulciano to taste wine.

While in this beautiful town we stopped at this beautiful wine cellar and observed and walk through the seller with these massive barrels which actually are still being used. The walk-through was very beautiful and at the end of it there was a place to...More

We ran into a local in Montepulciano who showed us an apartment he had for rent should we ever return there. After we toured his apartment he told us to follow him and we did to De'Ricci just a short distance from his apartment. He...More
