Beautiful Romanesque villa. This is a delightful place to wander around and forget busy lives. Tranquil and heavenly. From the paintings to the gardens. From the historic tea salon to the extraordinary tree room gallery. Well worth 6 euros entrance fee.

We spent ages wondering around the gigantic buildings, built for 19th century Italian hypochondriacs and nowadays still popular with Russian ones. Having my Campari and soda on the terrace, more or less alone, was a highlight of our trip.

Be aware that you will not see inside any of the spa buildings. Nice walk around those and the Gardens but don't expect to see inside anywhere ( unless you book and pay extra for a health spa). Don't think it's worth 12 Euros each.
