Greatness , at the water drinking palace Tettuccio, entrance fee 6 euro , somebody say its expensive, for me not, comparred to museum prices in my home country.
At the entrance we tried to buy/get a cup for drinking the healing water, the lady at the counter said that we need to show a doctor description to get a cup !! Seriously !!!
Once you are inside you will experience a lot of people who bring their own cups, the water runs freely from some taps. So bring your own cup if you wanna taste the healing water, by the way it tasted disgusting, the sulfiric acids and the salt and this ground/old taste, but if you belive in healing wells give it a go.
The park where Tettuccio is placed in are depressing due to the grand buildings in decay, it gives me a feeling of the world is near its end, by the way Montecatini are full of empty grand buildings and empty shops, but still a nice city to visit. But its alarming to me, but that the symptoms of internet business and globalism, its like that in many cities, including my hometown, a city center where people before would die to get a ship now displays closed shops now and then.

An absolute must visit during your time in Montecatini. From the stunning gardens to the beautiful architecture and history of the building. Even just to grab a refreshment from the bar and feel totally relaxed. And if you have the opportunity to see an opera or concert in the evening, take it!

This is a stunning place to visit. Lots of things to see, historical and otherwise. Paintings, statues, fountains, beautiful architecture, spa waters from ancient times. The gardens are beautiful. €6 for an adult entrance fee. If you have the opportunity to experience an opera or a music event, then take it. It’s a wonderful amphitheater setting.

It's way too beautiful, fantastic architecture and arts. Even drinking not tasty mineral water early in the morning before breakfast was great because it's so beautiful and has a great walking area

It must see, you can see the fountains in the winter, the drinking water areas and actual swimming are closed in the winter. Great area to relax, walk and have a pic nic, free to walk around and $10 to swim during the summer at specific spring.

One evening we went here for a concert with three fantastic opera singers in one of the beautiful buildings. We felt like we were in an atmosphere from 150 years ago. Magic.

We were lucky enough to choose a bright sunny day to walk around this beautiful park and spa. Gardens are amazing. A small exhibition was taking place in the library. Very relaxing few hours spent here.

This is a lovely place to visit. It has such a tranquil atmosphere and its nice just to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The entrance fee is priced right but I wouldn't want to pay much more that 6 euros. There seemed to be quite a lot of people speaking strongly with the lady at the entrance gate who then appeared to gain access without making any payment. She did a lot of sighing and eye rolling so this was obviously not a one off. Perhaps it's free for locals?
We had a quick look at the shops but not much there to see and in fact was a bit tacky and not in keeping with the surroundings.
We tried the spa water and it is an unusual taste - I'm sure the health benefits are grand but certainly wouldn't buy if bottled. A nice experience though.
The garden area surrounding the building is beautiful and we loved the section where the day, month and year was spelled out in plants - ingenious.
There is a large bar/restaurant area but not a sole was in there. There was no live music during our visit.
Parking is great with just a little walk up to the entrance where there is a really unique water feature.
