Terrible, rude staff, don't bother going unless you are Italian. Dirty beach and really bad facilities

When we came to the beach at 1pm on a Monday, there were only a few other people there. It was a beautiful day out! We rented chairs which were only €10 each for the day. Change room, toilet, and a rinse off station were provided. Perfect for spending a few hours of free time. It was about a 20min taxi ride (€35 each way).

Make sure your taxi driver doesn’t drop you off at the top of the main road, it is not a 5-min walk down, more 15. Our return driver was confused as to why we were walking up the hill and said the other person should have driven us further down the road.

We went to the beach club section of Cala di Puolo (accessed only by a privately owned road) where you can rent for a day or 4 hours beach umbrellas and sun loungers and have access to a clean washroom, bar & coffee shop, and restaurant. In addition to the public beach, you can also take a dive in the private access to the sea at the other end of the complex.
The entrance fee to the beach club includes the 15 Euro per car (max 5 persons) paid to use the private road leading to the beach club and park.
The service is great, the place is clean and quiet and the view is magnificent.
This is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the Coast.

Went to beach as was recommended and we were not disappointed. Took moped and parked for 3 euro for day with small hilly walk down to beach. Sand is black so very warm on feet. Rocky to get into water then sandy once out a bit. A few restaurants to buy food drinks at reasonable prices. 2 beds and a umbrella was 30 euro for the day. It is busy as every inch is covered in sun beds, but there is a section if you don’t want to hire, it’s just not so well kept. Now looking for next beach to visit just for a change, but will come back here if we don’t find any

with small kids it’s hard to find a place with beach, safe to park and safe to swim without walking miles or taking a lift after a long walk.
found this great little place 5 mins walk from the car park, sun beds at 7.50 each, toilets and lots of choice to eat beach side. worth a visit if you have small kids / grandkids etc.

After coming from the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast, Masa Lubrense was a welcome peaceful change. Puolo Beach was the first one we visited and we were pleasantly surprised. We parked at the parking lot at the top and paid 6€ for the day, a lot cheaper than any of the beaches along the coast! The beach was pleasant quiet and we were able to find a quiet spot on the rocks to enjoy the view and water. Deck chairs were available however we came just after lunch and just wanted a spot to chill. Overall a great beach if you don't want the crowds! Enjoy!!

Although it is a nice beach to go, the issue is that as it is really close to Sorrento, it gets really crowded although with my wife we visited on a week day (probably school vacations as we went on July).

We were here in height of summer, August and was very busy. We walked from Hotel Villa Pina, it took about 15 minutes (bring water, especially for way back up the hill!). It was a nice walk even in the heat, we went late afternoon after a day seeing ruins and enjoyed lounging on a sunlounger for a couple of hours and getting a dip in the sea. It was 15e for two sun beds and an umbrella but we didn't mind.

The beach was stony but we were fine barefoot, there weren't many other tourists there but we were not made to feel uncomfortable. We enjoyed a dip in the sea, it was a nice place to have a swim and we noticed you could hire boats etc too, though we didn't get a chance to come back and do this.

It's worth a visit for a relaxing couple of hours and a dip in the sea, we did see people on the rocks (where you didn't have to pay) lying in the sun and jumping into the sea.
