Amazing cove - hidden gem. Be aware it is 1000 steps down (and more importantly back up!) but worth it for this lovely quiet cove which was not overcrowded (probably because of the steps!) and a beautiful place for a swim

Crapolla Cove is absolutely stunning. We walked from Sant Agata down to the cove. It is a very steep walk down from the town to reach the steps, of which there are about 650. The beach is secluded and there are some old fishing huts...More

The walk down to the abandoned fishing village of Crapolla is a considerable downhill hike through steep rocky terrain, before reaching the 650 or so steps down the cliff face. You have to work hard to be rewarded with the stunning views and secluded cove....More

Natural beauty of a place this is! We walked it down from Sant'agata. Takes a good hour and includes the 650 steps down a steep hill. There were a few signs for 'Crapella' so follow these. Nowhere to buy drinks so just take loads of...More

It's a bit of a trek from the village to the top of the steps. The steps are easy to use but only for relatively fit people, not suitable for pushchairs! The beach is beautiful but it has stones and no sand. There was some...More

We stayed in Sant'Agata and this was our first hike in the area - recommended not only by tripadvisor folks, but the concierge at our hotel. We had heard about the 700 steps to get down there, but we also heard of the small chapel...More

As we were staying in a nearby village, our host advised that this was a lovely spot to walk to. And it certainly was not bad, but it is not easy to get to. Along the main path, stairs have been erected so it is...More

Tried to walk here from Sant Agata as its quite a short distance though we knew it would be steep , following a mostly marked trail downwards we had even checked the coves website before hand. Unfortunately never got to the actual beach only a...More
