The Hop Farm is highly recommended for fun with the family. The park is well run and has great facilities for children and parents too! Close to all the local tourist spots and attractions of Kent as a base for staying or to enjoy the fun there with you own family. Lots to see and do. Paul Davies

Health and safety seems have gone amiss in this place with sharp screws sticking out at eye level for our toddler. Everything is falling apart, dirty, old and run down. It is not ever worth a visit. There are so many lovely places to take your kids in kent and this is not one of them!

I was surprised to read the negative reviews. OK so you have to pay for some of the activities, but entrance is £1 per person, and for that you can enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, mini-golf, exhibits. Just £1 extra for the "cushion" (bouncy castle sort of thing) was money well spent! There is a cash machine if... More

Had a lovely 'wintry' visit to Hop Farm with my wife and 2 year old. it was a very cold day at the start of half term and the park was surprisingly quiet. The indoor soft play was a particular favourite and the farm is worth the extra fee.

Arrived without cash (my bad), so had to guess how many tokens we needed and bought them by card. Had £4 tokens left on way out, spent £15 in the shop, yet couldn't redeem tokens against our shop purchases, despite paying at the same counter. Rip off! Also, having to go through the gift shop on the exit seems a... More

The car park is free and we got in for free that is where the good bits end. This place makes you pay for each 'attraction' through tokens. Didn't fancy paying £6 to see a few donkeys, goats and chickens, followed by £1 per person on each ride- of which only two of six were working. Everything here was tired... More

We were initially a bit hesitant due to quite a few negative reviews but so glad we decided to try this for ourselves as we had a lovely day out. It is a £1 per person entry into the park, which includes the soft play, mini golf and playground. These all kept our children (age 4 and 15 months) entertained... More

Arriving at the farm it was very confusing finding the right car park some were behind a barrier and we only through because somebody was coming out and allowed the barrier to open. Nothing is signed just take a chance park and walk. I choose the wrong direction and walked all the way back. I ate in the café just... More

My 3 year old and I went during half term and were so disappointed. Paying a pound to get in (fine with that) then everything seemed to require tokens? 2 tokens for a 35 second ride on tea cups? ( 1 token = £1) None of the staff were happy (apart from a lovely girl who was running the car... More

We went for a work Christmas night night out here, and paid £50 for it. The food was really cold. They didn't bring the food for the guy next to me and when I said to them he hadn't got his they said 'well do you want it or not!' No apology, could t believe it. Then even the coffee... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are not aware of any issues or complaints with regard to Christmas parties. Could you please email your details, company name and the date of the party to mfenton@thehopfarm.co.uk and we will investigate. This is highly unusual as we only receive huge compliments for our hospitality team's service and delivery, particularly for our parties... More
