Went on cable car (top section revolves 360 on way up.) and had a great day walking. Views from top excellent and watched paragliders launching. get up early and buy tickets from tourist info office in town day before as this saves time in que.

You must get to the cable car early to miss the queues, a smooth ride and a second car which spun slowly round to give you a three sixty of the mountain and lake, ease of access for all.

The cable car ride to the top is a must..buying your ticket at the nearby bus station avoids the queues. Check weather forecast to get the best views.

Yes you can hike up and get the cable car down, you can buy a ticket at the top for one way journey. I did this in 2016 and price was 10euro down. Would highly recommend the hike up. The scenery is stunning all of the way up... More
