This is definitely a place to stop if you hang around in the Toscana or Liguria. A walk from the car park through narrow alleys down to the harbour is a good start. Walk around at the harbour and take the effort up to the...More

After visiting cinque terre towns, we had some spare time on hand and decided to visit lerici based on recommendations from our b&b host. Parking can be a bit difficult to find in the peak seasons but was manageable in mid-April when we visited. Lerici...More

The square in Lerici is prefect for strolling in the veening and is peppered with nice eateries and bars. You can look out to sea and watch the sun set over the islands and headland.

It's not exactly a beach where one can enjoy swimming , it's more of scenic place where you can enjoy the views sitting in hotel room (sea facing) or in restaurant. It was quiet dull during our visit as it was cold and raining and...More

We wouldn't have gone to Lerici if our landlords in La Spezia hadn't recommended it to us, and we are glad they did. We were here on a gray and rainy day in October, and even so, we were charmed by this little town. Colorful...More

Lerici is a beautiful Italian town at the beginning of the Riviera. The restaurants, bars and cafes are friendly and the food is good. The speciality is sea food although most restaurants do meat and vegetarian. The peak months are July and August for outside...More

It has become one of my new favourites. It's easy to park and walk down to the centre, very dog friendly everywhere, not crowded and stunningly beautiful. We stumbled across a hidden restaurant on the water, just other side of the castle, and it was...More

You can only enjoy Lerici once you have parked above town and fed the meters with 10 euro coins for the day. Short of a few euro? Guess what, nobody has change, not the hotels, bars or fellow travellers. So stock up before you go...More
