I'm not sure how many times we have been up to the castle for it to be closed but this week it is open!!! Worth a trip up just for the views. There is a lift in the tunnel below if you don't want to...More

For me also this has very treasured memories from 1953 when my younger brother and I were two of a YHA group of 12, of various nationalities. I do not think that I could make the journey up and down all those steps more than...More

Impressive castle. Turned into an exposition hall on the inside, hiding a lot of the original castle. The top has great views of the coastline.

I can definitely recommend this place for the rooftop view alone, it's awesome. Besides, they have a little but interesting museum, a XII sec. church and they host exhibitions as well.

Castello di Lerici is a symbol of this little town. Paleontological museum is located there. Amazing view from the "top"!

The view from the top of the castle is beautiful and you can sea the sun going down behind Porto Venere. If you go there when there is an exposition go to see it!
