Place apparently redeveloped. The regulation says that it is better not to bring food from home and then you serve burgers with bag chips for 14 € and canteen firsts for 16 €. They removed the platform that gave the opportunity to dive into the water and regulations oblige you not to bring balls or water mats. 25 euros each in short for a cot and an old towel.

The place is okay but overpriced and the staff is unfriendly. There are many beaches around the Garda lake that are as good and free of charge. The beach has guards who tell you where you can take a sun bed, or more, where you can’t take a sun bed. There is a lot of available sun beds at the front of the beach but the unpleasant guards insists they are reserved. Even though there is only two of 45 beds taken there.

30 Euros per adult admission fee. Kids under 12 free of charge.

We walked to this beach as well as to Punta San Virgilio on the headland nearby from the centre of Garda mostly along the lakeside walk which was glorious although it would be much hotter and crowded later in the season. The beach was free to use when we were there last week but normally a fee is paid to use the facilities of showers, toilets, kiosks and picnic area amongst the olive trees. Water in the lake looked clean and inviting if somewhat bracing this early in the season! Carparking from the main road from Garda was free but there was a man sitting at the entrance with a notice which encouraged 'tips' to be left for him!! The small harbour at San Virgilio is worth a stroll to for the scenery and there is a lakeside cafe, restaurant and tiny shop too. Good place to people-watch.

Hello,
I have been with my family (12,8,3) and paid 12 Eu/adult 6/kid.
What we did not know,
- on a hot day, parking is between olive trees on the other side of of the bay.
- it is a whole day stay, where there are also little kids playground and activities.
- it is more a camper stay, without the cars. Kiosks and eating tables are plenty there.
- it is clean and orderly prepared with beach chairs for free
What we knew,
It is avery nice stony beach with beautiful view of the mountains.
There are little plastic islands in the water, where one can jump into it.

When it is not super crowded it is a nice place to relax, but 12€ x person is definitely to much, even if the sunbed is included.
Anyway from the parking lot you can go around the park through the trees and end on the same beach for free, since not all of it is private.

really lovely to sit and sunbathe, people watch, but do watch out for sea-snakes if you go for a swim

Came upon this place late in the afternoon a few years ago and it happened to be a cheaper day for families after a certain time in the afternoon - spent a few lazy hours and fell in love with the place. Beautiful bay, not busy, clean water, great diving platforms for the kids, amazing views - the kind of Italy you dream of...

Returned the next year just before sunset when it was deserted - absolutely idyllic as we had the place to ourselves. It seemed open to walk down to the beach but our swim was brought to an abrupt end by a groundsman shouting at us to leave. I had read lots of times that you were free to be there after closing time but it didn't seem that way...

Returned a week later on a Saturday - totally different experience. Crowded and really quite unpleasant despite the beautiful scenery.

My advice therefore....go late afternoon on a week day and check out any cheaper days as prices are way too high. The setting is totally unreal if you can avoid the crowds.

A very pleasant lake side resort, beautiful location and space. Good for swimming with rafts close to the shore. But wear jelly shoes to swim in, as the pebbles can be uncomfortable to walk on. Adequate catering , but toilets need westernising....!

The small harbour and cafe are quite delightful. We will visit again. It is close to the bus stops, but a bit difficult from the north bound bus stop, watch the road!

We visited on a Monday in August. Entrance was 12Euro per adult but included sun lounger or deck chair, access to a life guarded stone beach, a play area (although we didn’t go there) and well kept grounds. We thought worth it and will return. We arrived at 11 and got a good spot right by the water. Kids aged 6 and 8 loved it - had a great time snorkelling and looking for (very small!) fish. Cafe a touch pricey but food was good. Make sure you take water shoes as entry to water very painful without - but easy with.
