Decent spot to find some shade, but not much of a breeze. Nice view around the perimeter. Fairly small.

The Balio gardens, adjacent to the Castle of Venus, were built in English style by Conte Pepoli in 1872. Being a public garden, access is free. They are beautifully maintained with lush vegetation and provide a quiet spot to relax in the shade after exploring Erice.. You can admire a breathtaking view of Trapani and the salt pans from the belvedere.

A most beautiful place still nicer when the sun is going down in the early evening. A beautiful spot for pictures and a nice relaxing walk around the fortifications of the village of Erice.Wonderful views all around

The gardens are quite small but they give you one of the most picturesque views in Erice. Totally worth it!

Don't expect amazing gardens, but expect beautiful landscapes
Which is why you shouldn't miss this place in Erice, it would be a real Fomo.
You can reach the gardens by walking the narrow and special streets of this village and then eventually get there at the end of the village.
You may also go straight from the Cable car by taking the southern street boarding the village till its end.
You'll reach then 4 interesting places: these Gardens of Balio, the Castello del Balio o Pepoli, the Torretta Pepoli and last the Castello di Venere.
You'll have the opportunity to admire beautiful landscapes maybe up to hundred kilometers around.
Really beautiful and actually I believe this should be more the purpose of this trip than the village itself.

This pretty little shady garden next to the Castle of Venus is basically just pathways, busts, shrubs and a small child's playground but it is well-kept and there are several benches where you can sit and relax in the shade. The views from the edge of the garden are fantastic - over the Bay of Trapani and also of the castle and plain to the east. There is a small cafe which is open during the day.

We walked around the historic town of Erice noting the landmarks, enjoying the history, the narrow ,cobbled streets, shuttered houses, and the discovery of each new feature on the map provided. A treasure hunt indeed. This tower had us baffled until we turned around and spied it. Another part of the history jigsaw in place.

A very interesting drive up with lots of hairpin turns. Careful of buses that usually beep their horns as they approach. A fantastic view on a clear day.

Easily reached by a short walk from the town centre. Impressive views from the gardens over the surrounding countryside down to the coast.

Yes, but it may be quite difficult to find a parking in high season, especially from the afternoon.
Salve , per avere un recapito telefonico e parlare con il personale della struttura? Dovremmo prenotare una camera per sabato 18 e lasciarla il 19 mattina. Attendo risposta
