With high hopes and a little anxiety on how I would perform on a major hiking trip, I set off to join Gary and fellow trekkers. I’ve been with Gary before (on the Dolomite trip) so I knew his careful planning would pay off with all trip details covered and anticipated. His Sherpa team of guides and porters were first-rate. The accommodations were very good and we experienced good weather. At the end of the trek, Gary took suggestions on how to improve the 7 days we had in the Everest region. I believe these changes will improve the enjoyment of future trekkers. Plans and itinerary are apt to change given the weather, trail conditions, Lukla flight schedules, and dealing with the vagaries of Nepal. Knowing this, come with a positive attitude and be ready to adjust.

We traveled with Gary and his team of Sherpas on our Nepal Trek. What a great experience. We started in Kathmandu and everything was smooth from pick-up to accommodations and meals, and even tourist treks while we were there. The biggest reason we went was the opportunity to trek the Everest region of the Himalayas - and for 8-days we were taken care of and were able to enjoy the hiking and the views with all of the logistics handled. Great lodges, a great group of people to trek with, and some of the most amazing sites we could have asked for. Gary was accommodating and is always improving these treks. We were also fortunate to meet his former Sherpa family which was a heartfelt reunion and shows that Gary knows Nepal, and knows how to make a group of trekkers feel like they belong there. We are excited to check out other treks - but this one is a must if you want to see the top of the world.

Going with Gary of Right Path Adventures is the way to see the Dolomites. We saw and experienced a great deal in 6 days -- much more than we would have going on our own. Gary has spent a great deal of effort over the years building relationships with hotel and restaurant owners throughout the Italian Dolomites and it shows. He picked fabulous hotels. Everyday he gave us choices for activities and managed to satisfy both the super hikers in our group and the "I'd rather just stroll a bit today" folks. We would definitely do another trip with Gary.

We had a terrific 12 - day tour of Croatia and Slovenia. The tour offered a broad spectrum of places and sites, with an emphasis on walking and easy hiking. Every day was a new destination, often with a surprise activity or stop. The hikes, especially in the Julian Alps of Slovenia, were spectacular. The small group, 3 couples in our case, made for easy traveling as did the arrangements and transportation all provided by Gary Scott. An absolutely hassle free and culturally impressive vacation. We would recommend this tour, and Right Path Adventures, to anyone interested in a unique visit to these two wonderful countries.

We travelled with Gary to the Dolomites and as I write this review almost 4 months later I want to go back. Tonight. My spouse and I found the trip to be so satisfying. Active days, relaxing evenings in charming towns and villages, spectacular scenery, great travel buddies in our small group of 8. We felt immersed in the region and were struck by how few Americans were there. Thank you, Gary, for getting us safely from trail to trail and showing us a part of the world that was incredible!
