It is worth to climb, the garden is very nice, the tower is interesting and one can feel the touch of past centuries The view from the top of the tower is astonishing, especially as it was New Year's Eve

A short walk from the main piazza (uphill) or drive takes you to this castle on top of the hill. Great views of the mountains and a lovely garden to stroll through. We missed going inside as we visited during the long lunch break.

Entering it you expect something extraordinary, instead of it you find a local museum with cheap mixture of antiquities. But restaurant outside is fantastic. Jus ask for gnocchi and prosecco.

You only get to walk a little bit of the grounds. The views were beautiful. I would have liked to have gone inside like we have at other castles but apparently they don't allow that. The pedestrian trail up to it was a pretty walk.
