We wanted to visit this pretty little church in a small square off of Corso Ruggero but it was always closed to visitors when we walked past so I can't say whether the interior is worth a visit or not. It has a lovely Baroque facade with double stairs leading up to the door. We did manage to get a glimpse inside once when the door was open but the entrance was blocked by chairs and someone was cleaning the floors. I hope you have better luck visiting it.

Tucked away in a small square along the main street of the old centre is this nice little church with a nice stairway leading to it. Worth seeing.

Not very impressive from outside but the inside is lovely, unfortunately not very often open so check opening times first

The Chiesa del Purgatorio is a cute little church, as many places in cefalu very photogenic. Worth a stroll-by if you have the chance.

It's only a small church but the highlight is the beautiful stairs that lead to the entrance. They were adorned with white flowers when we were there that suggests a recent wedding. Looked absolutely beautiful and I would provide a perfect setting for wedding photographs. Inside the church was actually quite small and understated. Worth going into for a few minutes if you're nearby.

A very detailed facade but relatively plain within except for magnificent wooden organ gallery and the tomb of The Baron, a very interesting and engaged man.

The church is typical Italian, with a beautiful altar and a man made cave where St Mary's statue is exposed.

We called in after a wedding. The stairs had been decorated with flowers and there were many flowers in the church. Nothing special but well worth a visit. .

Beautiful church tucked away. It's a place of peace and we lit two remembrance candles. Definitely visit.

Tucked away on a small square it is easy to miss this gem but well worth having a look inside. It is a great photo opportunity if you stand on the stairs.
